First time visiting this community cafe today. Really well organised and comfortable seating with the option of cushions for the chairs also. Staff we so friendly and helpful and it was great to see and feel the community aspects with the staff and customer interactions and the library forming part of the cafe also. Americano coffee had a lovely flavour and my jacket potato was a great size and cooked really well so a lovely creamy potato that tasted freshly baked and not reheated or microwaved even at the odd time of 11am. I was stopped here on my work break and will definately visit again the next time I am visiting patients in the community locally. I'm so pleased I DIDN'T head back to Tesco in Royston for my break. Until my next visit, thank you

A perfect place for lunch or just to stop for a cuppa and a lovely cake - whilst you wait for your car to be fixed in the village garage, as I was today! The staff at the Melbourn Hub are always extremely friendly and welcoming. Table service, great cakes and a pot of tea at bargain prices - what's not to like? There's a shelf of books you can borrow if you have time to while away or the community library has several shelves at the far end of the cafe. The place is often busy but there's always a spot to squeeze in somewhere, amongst the parents, pensioners, cycling teams stopping for a rest and just people going about their day. The atmosphere is always bubbly but never noisy or intrusive. An ideal place to spend a few hours!

Very busy so waited a while for food. A little bit disappointed with the kiddie bags. Ok for older kids but sandwiches too big for small kids. Portions should be smaller and cost less. Paper straws never work with small children as they become soggy and flat so. More young family customers could then enjoy

Okay IV been meeting my husband for lunch here for a very long time, I'll be honest I don't like how it's changed, it's all a bit messy up , I would love for it to go back to how it use to be, still a lovely place to have lunch.

Booked one of the rooms for a meeting. Ordered food and drinks too. Food choices and food itself were very good. Gemma was fantastic at making sure everything sorted and just right for us. Great venue with lots of free parking in council car park opposite too. Well worth checking out this venue if you’re after a small conference room. Fully recommended!
